I live in your district, and I’m calling to ask that you oppose HB 132 and rate caps that would eliminate my ability to access short term credit
Having these loans available puts my mind at ease , and in emergency situations, I know credit is always available. Additionally, with the dramatic price increases in food, gas and everyday expenses, our budgets are being significantly stretched placing a serious strain on our finances.
I appreciate your support in protecting New Mexicans, but rate caps will only place further burdens on people like me who want to maintain credit options. Please oppose HB 132.
